Rate limits
Limits are per API key, measured per second, and reported on every response.

Headers
Every response carries X-RateLimit-Limit, X-RateLimit-Remaining and
X-RateLimit-Reset. Read them rather than guessing — the limits move as your
plan changes.
Backing off
A 429 includes Retry-After in seconds. Wait at least that long, then retry
with jitter. Repeatedly ignoring Retry-After will get a key throttled harder,
not faster.
Warning
Carriers rate-limit texting independently of us. A send accepted at 5 a second can still queue behind carrier throughput.
